Halton & District Junior football League has been established since 1971 it has provided affiliated football to children from all over Halton and other surrounding areas.
Over the years the Committee ensured that your children got free pitches and new rules to ensure a safe environment to play the lovely game of football.
The League has had many Mini soccer festivals attended by thousands down at Pavilions in Runcorn, it has also had Representative squads at the u13s age group that played in Germany and Spain and was very successful winning the trophy many times.
It has had age groups from u7s right through to u18s with two divisions in most age groups, this has been dwindling over the last couple of years due to various things from feedback we are told its down to lack of teams,Referees to which there is a shortage of Referee's nationally not just here in Halton.
The League is asking for all of you to support us in keeping your teams and clubs here in the League and lets get back to what this League once was.
Any age groups from u7s to u18s can now apply to join with Saturday being the playing day, however the League will certainly look at playing on Sundays for whole divisions and age groups if that is also needed.
This can also help out with ensuring Referee's so if you are looking for a Saturday or Sunday for your teams let us know.
The League has secured a small funding pot than can be used to help new teams start up in this League and the Committee will help you to do all your necessary paperwork to get you up and running we will also show you how to do the online system.
Its not too late to join or come back all mini soccer is non competitive so adjusting fixtures for you to come back is not an issue.
11 aside and 9v9 teams are welcome too.
